I love the Shelbourne. Their food is great and so reasonable. The staff are so efficient and friendly.
Absolutely delicious!We've been getting buns and cakes from the Shelbourne for years and you could never fault it.As a Saturday morning treat, we occasionally visit here for breakfast. Again it's faultless and always delicious.Staff are always really friendly and helpful.Highly recommended.
Server was absolutely lovely! However, the food was not. Ordered mushroom soup and got vegetable soup which was burnt and tepid, not hot, so disappointing. We also asked if we could get egg and onion sandwiches which was not a problem. The sandwiches , although had lovely fresh tasty eggs, lacked onion the very competent server could not have been more apologetic and gave us some lovely home baked goodies to take home. What an asset this lady is and maybe I should upgrade my rating due to her attention. Well done , (Adel?)
Luv this place.Bakery side has a great selection from breads to cakes.And hot food.Restuaraunt has great seating and the service is second to none.Always my first port of call when in Newry is to visit here when seeing the family.
Had a full breakfast here when I was passing thru Newry toady. The grub was great. I love my soda bread and theirs was as good as I've tried. They allowed me swap an item (extra rasher instead of sausages) without charging. There was always someone close by making sure we were happy. Niall served us and took time to chat and make us feel like like we were in our local. There is a decent menu with traditional and roast type fayre. Layout and decor is like a restaurant but the atmosphere laid back and prices are handy, 7 for a full breakfast. I will definitely call in again next time I'm in Newry.
